So at the above link you will find a video about the only Beer Brewery in Pakistan. Why only one? Well that's because it's the only 1 with Government Approval to sell an illegal beverage in a Muslim Country. You see Alcohol is Forbidden by the Quo ran. It is believed to be a drink directly from Satan or of Evil.

However, what I find peculiar is why does the government allow EVEN ONE brewer...why not outlaw them all? Well this is because historically the 1 brew company, Murree, was brought to Pakistan during the British Colonization of the area. Well Brits were Christian... they loved to drink their beer and had no religious sentiments against the act or the concoction. So the brew company was allowed to exist by a grandfather clause of sorts, but there is a catch. The brewer is not to sell the beer to any Muslim only to the small non-Muslim population. If we were all good and honest and law-abiding people we could see how this is a reasonable set of rules...however, being in a country where even the underage members of the American public can get access to alcohol pretty easily, it's hard to believe that the temptation for the good Allah-abiding Muslim people of Pakistan would be able to resist the ONLY alcohol in the nation.

The sales of Murree beer far exceed the reasonable amount for the small percentage of non-Muslim population in Pakistan, so where is all the beer going? You decide, while I go have a Sam Adams Boston Lagar. God Bless America!
